FYI - When Motorcycle Express sends you your Electronic Travel package, all of this information for your ports - for picking up and/or dropping off your motorcycle/s will be included.

CANADA PORT FEES
Port Fees vary per location.
If you are flying into Canada from Europe, you will need to pay a Port Fee. These fees vary from port to port.
Montréal - There is an Import Fee of 125$ CAD at ACI Montréal (YUL)
FOR CALGARY:
EUROPE PORT FEES
If you are flying out of EUROPE to CANADA from the below ports, you will need to use a freight forwarder to assist you through the process. You contact them in advance, you give them your Air Waybill number and you follow instructions pertinent to their country's regulations. Although we do the necessary documentation for your entire trip, the need for these agents or brokers is imperative at certain ports.

He is located upstairs from Cargo and you should give him your Air Waybill number, date you plan to drop off bike and ask him his fees.
You must pay him directly and this is not something that is included with your shipping cost that you have paid to Motorcycle Express.

Email him your flight information and Air Waybill number.
You are responsible to pay whatever duty and fees are required and a separate fee in Euros directly to his firm.
This is not something that is included with your shipping cost that you have paid to Motorcycle Express.
You must have less than a gallon of Petrol, the battery must be disconnected and the cycle must be
clean.
(For Import: His company will direct you to the proper sources with the proper documentation enabling you to have your personal cycle admitted to Ireland on a temporary basis.)
PARIS
FOR EXPORT
When you are getting ready to leave Paris or Nice, you need to contact the Export Port company a couple days prior. Just make contact, give them your Air Waybill Number, let them know who you are and when you are dropping off your bike and listen to any special instructions they have for you. They will strive to make your return shipping experience go very smoothly. You will NEED an appointment with Patrice.
In addition to the documents we provide for your booking, he does additional export work for France Requirements.
Export Charges are EUR 145.00
These charges include : Export customs declaration + documentation checking/preparation/labelling + assistance to customer until delivery point at WFS (Worldwide Flight Services) the airline's handling warehouse.
You can pay them directly either by CB either by cash the day you have the appointment.
Service is only provided from Monday to Friday only (not possible on Saturday & Sunday and French bank holidays.)
You need to make an appointment with Patrice 1 day or 2 days before departure date.
If departure is scheduled on Sat/Sun/Monday flight….then you need to have an appointment on Friday with him.
You must first to go to their office (see address below). When customs is done, paperwork is controlled and ok, he will take you and your motorcycle to WFS (the warehouse) and will assist you to be accepted by the airlines.

GATWICK and HEATHROW Instructions for a Customs Broker - we work with PBS
You deal directly with the broker and pay them directly. It seems that these ports are requiring a broker now.
48 Hours in advance, you must notify you them via email or phone 011 44 (0) 1293 606 900 and ask for Les. Give them your Air Waybill # and let them know what port and what date your cycle/s will arrive.
There are clearance charges for UK airports.
IF PBS incurs the handling charge they will pass it on to you (the importer.)
There is a Minimum handling fee of £45.00 however no motorcycle will be under this.

Export NES only £ 35.00
Customs clearance £ 55.00
Airline Handling £ 45.00 Min or £ 0.25p per kilo based on the “Chargeable Weight”
Covid Handling £ 25.00 Min or 0.08p per kilo based on the “Chargeable Weight”

Weekend Arrival £ 65.00 Attendance – Any arrival over a weekend MUST be arranged prior to arrival & have release / payments & paperwork in place beforehand.
